This course aims to give an insight in the operations, practices and techniques used in the drilling of wells for oil and gas starting from spudding to hermetical test of production casing.

  • Operations & SOPs: Bit Break-in, Drilling & Drilling Parameter, Pipe Connection, Circulation (STB, BTS, Complete Cycle), Slug Pipe, Tripping (Short trip, Wiper Trip, Round Trip), Hole Filling & Trip Sheet, Slip and Cut Drill line, Casing and cementing, Preparation & Wellhead Installation, BOP Hook-up, BOP Line-up, CIT, Cement and Shoe Drilling, LOT & PIT, Coring, Hermetical Test.
